UPSTATE, S.C. - JOY Real Estate announces a Benefit for Rachael Gleason an event hosted by DAWGS On Pelham.

Rachael Gleason is the daughter of Bob Gleason, JOY Real Estate agent, and Angie Gleason. Rachael, who recently celebrated her 2nd birthday, was diagnosed with stage 3 Neuroblastoma Cancer on February 13, 2008.

JOY Real Estate agents Cynthia Serra and Tawana Porter inconjunction with DAWGS On Pelham will be hosting The Benefit for Rachael Gleason, Saturday April 26, 2008 from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

Enjoy live entertainment; the Blood Connection’s Blood Vessel will be onsite for donations, raffle drawings and silent auction for prizes totaling up to $2,000.00 and DAWGS famous food!! All proceeds will go to benefit Rachael Gleason.

UPSTATE, S.C. - JOY Real Estate proudly announces the JOY Foundation, a company based charity group focused on providing assistance to local community organizations.

Each quarter the JOY Foundation concentrates on a different charity, including the Women’s Shelter, Upstate Equestrian Ministry, Susan G. Komen and local food banks.

This quarter the JOY Foundation will be assisting the Upstate Equestrian Ministry located in Mauldin, SC; a program dedicated to helping children with special needs develop their full potential physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually through therapeutic riding.

Whispering Pines Stables, a part of the Upstate Equestrian Ministry serves, on a regular basis hundreds of children. The Stables have endured one of the harshest droughts this year, and are in desperate need of a face lift.

JOY Foundation will begin work at Whispering Pines Stables on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 8:00 am and will continue work there every Saturday until May. Upstate, S.C. - JOY Real Estate proudly announces the appointment of N. Craig Bailey as Vice President of Development.

Mr. Bailey comes to JOY Real Estate with over 20 years of experience in Education, Government, and Business. Mr. Bailey earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from Francis Marion University with a major in Business Administration and a major in Economics. Mr. Bailey also earned a Masters of Science in Information Systems from Strayer University and an MBA in Strategic Management from US International University. Mr. Bailey is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves where he is currently the Commanding Officer of Marine Wing Communication Squadron-48 headquartered in Great Lakes, IL.
